The farming community in Uttar Pradesh, in particular small and marginal farmers, have been majorly benefited by the Uttar Pradesh Free Boring Scheme under which the Uttar Pradesh government is providing free boring facilities for irrigation purposes. - Group Benefits: The scheme shall be available for farmers owning land of not more than 0.2 hectare, and the farmers are allowed to form groups in order to be a beneficiary.
