Sahara India has started paying back the money to the investors who’s money was trapped there. It may be recalled that many investors have already received ₹10,000 cash as the first tranche. If you have not yet received your refund, you can trace when it will be returned online. Previously, the process of the second installment of between ₹20,000 to ₹50,000 has started recently.
Process of How to Track Sahara Refund Status Online
To check your refund status, follow these steps:
- Go to the website of Sahara India.
- There, you will find an option labeled “Payment Status” or a similar name at the homepage of the website.
- Other information that one will be required include your registration or claim identification number.
- Submit the information.
- After you do this, information as to whether the refund has been processed and the state of the refund will be displayed on the screen.
What to Do If You Haven’t Received the Refund?
If you haven’t received your refund yet, you need to:
- Make sure your refund claim registration is thorough.
- Click the status link to see if there are any issues or missing information.
- Please, make modifications if your form was returned because of mistakes and try again.
- Wait for the correct form to be accepted and once done, the refund process will begin.
Why Some Refunds Are Delayed
Refunds could be held up if some form has not been filled in adequately, if there are mistakes made on form submission or if due to heavy workload there is processing backlog. Ensure all your details are accurate and that they meet all regulatory requirements to prevent any form of a delay.
Second Installment Update
These investors who registered for second installment have been receiving ₹20,000/- ₹50,000/- per investment. If you are eligible for the second reimbursement, you will have to complete the same online procedure of reimbursement check as well.
