There has been noticed increased number of migrants around 21,929, reported at the Canada-US Border, according to the stats given by US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) from Oct 2023 to Aug 2024.
Also, it was reported that 17,810 migrants crossed boundaries in the Swanton Sector, bordering Quebec, New York, and Vermont. The numbers have doubled by 8,686 in comparison to previous years.
