With the inflation rates being on the rise, the Government of Canada has unveiled an important measure that they have called the Canada Pension Boost 2024. Apart from the OAS increase, other positive change for Canadians who qualify for the CPP will be a rise in the amount of money paid to them. These covered regular CPP payments every five weeks to beneficiaries; a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,660 was also provided in September 2024.
