Montana residents who paid property tax in 2023 will receive $675 stimulus check. This plan concerns a refund that may be given to lighten the burden of property taxes. Home owners who are eligible for the program can get a rebate of up to $675 or the total amount of properties taxes paid whichever is lesser.
For instance, if the amount of tax that a homeowner has paid is equal to $425, then the homeowner will surely be paid the same amount in rebate. If they paid more than $675 they would only get a maximum rebate of $675 no matter how high they where.
Stimulus Check of $675 Eligible for
There are several conditions that homeowners must meet if they want to receive the $675 refund. First they needed to have owned and occupied a Montana residence for more than seven months in 2023. This could be a house, an apartment and even a mobile home mobile home.
Also note that the rebate does not cover any other property taxes beyond those of the home and the first acre of ground it rests on. There are few strictures, though: An offered property cannot be owned by a business, LLC, or can be in an irrevocable trust.
